This Saturday, January 24, come in to G.B. Russo & Son for a wine tasting. Wines featured will include 2012 Locations I, 2012 Andezon Cotes du Rhone, and 2010 Glen Carlou Grand Classique.
The 2012 Domaine Andezon Cotes du Rhone is rated 90 Outstanding by Wine Spectator. A blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache aged in French oak barrels. Notes of black olives, bacon fat, flowers, cassis and back cherries. Medium-bodied, fruity and soft. Drink over the next 1 or 2 years.
The 2010 Glen Carlou Grand Classique is also rated 90 Outstanding by Wine Spectator. It is a broad, plus and well-toasted style. Noets of ganache and mint, plum sauce and blackberry preserves. Drink throughout 2015 and 2016.
